I went to bootcamp jan 08 in dallas tx. It was do or die for me. I felt like my marriage was over. The following monday i had made an appt with the lawyer to start divorce.I got airplane tickets and signed up for the bootcamp just so i had the peace of mind that i had tried. I threw the tickets at my husband and told him that i did not care if he goes or not. well the first two days of the seminar were nerve wracking and I just kept going but very eye opening. The third day i felt like i could open up and face my fears. Very scarey at first but I felt like a ton was lifted off my shoulders or a lightening. I am not religious and they did not push that issue but asked me to be receptive. I would definitely say this is the best thing i have done for myself.I would recommend to anyone who is wondering if they should try it.

People have said your marriage is 'restored', but I don't feel restored because that just means to return (someone or something) to a former condition, place, or position and we are so far from being the couple we were before. Jeremy and I are 'renewed' which means to become new again or start over. It's actually bizarre to think that 4 days of dyads, tomb stones, I choose not to give you medicine statements, and backpack life jackets holding onto handfuls of tissue could heal two deeply broken people and build a new relationship from the ashes of our pasts and hurt, but that's exactly what happened. IT truly is a miracle. The 4 days I spent with you all have been the best four days of my entire relationship and I'd do it again in a heart beat to feel the way I feel today about myself, my relationship and my life. I came into the bootcamp just 2 weeks after my husband blindsided me with wanting a divorce after over 12 years of marriage. I just knew that this bootcamp will show him that I was a perfect mate and all our problems came from his imperfections. Boy was I wrong! I learned that a deep dark secret that I hid from myself and refused to recognize actually contributed in a negative way to my marriage and made it toxic.
